Easy Trade Africa at the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CATE)
The Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo officially opened on June 12, 2025, in Changsha, central China. The event highlights China's continued commitment to deepening economic ties with Africa—the continent with the largest number of developing nations—by promoting trade, cooperation, and innovation.
Nicaise Loua, Founder and CEO of Easy Trade Africa, had a fruitful exchange with His Excellency Mr. Paul Valentin Ngobo, the Minister of Agriculture for the Republic of the Congo. Their discussion focused on opportunities in the agricultural sector, particularly the import of agricultural machinery to Congo-Brazzaville to support modernization and improve local agricultural productivity.
We are proud to be part of this important initiative and look forward to building a stronger and long-term partnership with the Republic of the Congo.
At Easy Trade Africa, our mission is to revolutionize business operations across Africa, especially for SMEs (small and medium enterprises). We believe in the transformative power of trade and are dedicated to driving economic growth, encouraging innovation, and creating job opportunities across the continent.
📊 In the first five months of 2025 alone, China imported 15.83 billion yuan worth of agricultural products from Africa. Notably:
Coffee imports rose by 145.7%
Cocoa beans by 88.6%
Frozen strawberries by 82%
These figures represented 18.4%, 65.4%, and 84.8% of China’s total imports for each product, respectively—highlighting Africa’s growing role in global supply chains.
According to the United Nations COMTRADE database, China’s imports from the Republic of the Congo reached USD 5.45 billion in 2023, with data last updated in June 2025.
🌍 Together, let’s build a brighter economic future for Africa!
