We had the privilege of organizing a highly educational conference, where we had the honor of welcoming you to address a subject of capital importance: relations between China and Africa, with a particular focus on the Coast of 'Ivory. This theme is all the more relevant as China has occupied a preponderant place in Africa, and especially in Côte d'Ivoire, for many years.
China's impact in Ivory Coast is evident, notably through the financing and construction of crucial infrastructure such as roads and buildings, as well as significant contributions in the education and trade sectors. . However, this assistance raises major questions which deserve in-depth reflection.
During this conference, we had the privilege of hearing Mr. Henri Christ Aymet Yoro L., president of the REAIC (Network of Ivorian Teachers Friends of China). Founded on February 15, 2015, REAIC is committed to promoting the sharing of experiences acquired in China and to popularizing Chinese culture in Côte d'Ivoire. The objective is to forge a tool for lasting cooperation between the Ivorian and Chinese people.
Our objective through this conference was to dissect the nature of this Sino-Ivorian relationship, to exchange ideas and to promote mutual learning between participants.
